Happy Valentines Day to ME!

It was very refreshing to read this article today on Etsy.

So many of us (me included) run around day after day taking care of other people (my busy "robot")... a little self indulgence shouldn't riddle you with guilt! We tend to forget to love ourselves on the most "LOVE" filled day of the year. It has inspired me to take a candle lit bubble bath tomorrow (even if it means my little super hero is saving the world beside me on the bathroom floor).

The Bad Robot has been down and out with a flu the past few days. So I've taken the forced house-arrest as an opportunity to get some sewing done. An old yellow nail apron with big black print inspired me to turn out a couple of clutches. My mother found this fantastic comic book super hero bark cloth at the market last week and it made a fab lining for one of them.

I've been having one of those weeks... rough times, sick robot, and bad news. I'm trying to keep my chin up and occupy my time with hard work. It's a new week and it'll be great... (I think I can... I think I can...)
