BABY THURSDAY - 38 weeks - the last installment

I can't believe this is the last "BABY THURSDAY"! It has just flown by... seriously. I feel like I JUST announced that I was building a baby. Then POOF! She's gonna be here in 5 sleeps!


I'm so excited to meet this little girl... to watch my son become a big brother... to see how my family evolves from 3 to 4. I've been a little weepy this week thinking about all the amazing things ahead and saying goodbye to the things that will no longer be; the movements of a child inside me... the time my boy was an "only".

Weeks pregnant: 38

Time left: 5 SLEEPS! 

Weight gained to date: 19.5 lbs total

Gender: girl

Baby's approx. length: Supposed to be 20" long...

Baby's approx. weight: Supposed to be about 7 pounds... Doc thinks she's over 8lbs. Eeep!

Veg/fruit size comparison: watermelon

Cravings this week: tortilla chips dipped in refried beans and sour cream.

Movement: Stretching pushing and rolling movements. It feels like it's pretty cramped in there... especially at night... Oy... the nights are getting brutal. I've started sleeping in the lazy boy.

Chicken's name suggestion this week: "Fire Elastic Man". It really does have a certain ring to it.

BABY THURSDAY - 37 weeks

Stats:

Weeks pregnant: 37

Time left: 1 weeks 4 days.... 12 SLEEPS PEOPLE! 

Weight gained to date: 19 lbs total

Gender: girl

Baby's approx. length: Supposed to be 19.5" long...

Baby's approx. weight: Supposed to be about 6.5 - 7 pounds... 

Veg/fruit size comparison: watermelon

Cravings this week: This: http://www.etsy.com/blog/en/2011/fig-prosciutto-and-goat-cheese-pizza/?ref=fp_blog_title Although I have yet to actually make it... I can't stop thinking about it!

Movement: Not a lot of kicking these days... More stretching pushing and rolling movements. I can only imagine how cramped it must be in there. 

Chicken's name suggestion this week: "Snook Head". Don't ask... I have no idea.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY 30 - baby sister's quilt.

BABY THURSDAY... on friday - 36 weeks

Stats:

Weeks pregnant: 36

Time left: 2 weeks 4 days.... OH. MA. GAH. Not counting today... that's 17 days. 

Weight gained to date: 16 lbs total

Gender: girl

Baby's approx. length: Supposed to be 19" long... but she's measuring over.

Baby's approx. weight: Supposed to be about 6 pounds... but she's measuring over.

Veg/fruit size comparison: small watermelon

Cravings this week: also WATERMELON. :)

Movement: Pushing down on my bladder... Hello bathroom! 

Chicken's name suggestion this week: "Lola". Although he pronounces it "Whoa-wa"... so funny!

BABY THURSDAY - 35 weeks

This pregnancy is FLYING by!
Seriously, I have 26 days left.
WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN!?!?! 


I've continued to feel pretty good throughout. The AC has made the heat a little easier to take. My only complaint is the night. Sleeping has become a real challenge the last couple of weeks. There aren't enough pillows on earth to prop me comfortably! My hips are a real bother... tossing and turning to try and find a good position. Not to mention having to get up to pee at least twice a night... I guess I'll be prepared for little miss' feedings!

Cravings this week: milk and cereal.

Movement: Lots of stretching and pushing her bum into the right side of my ribs. 

Chicken's name suggestion this week: "Little beautiful". Ahhhhh.... ;)

BABY THURSDAY - 33 weeks

Time left: 5 weeks 4 days

Weight gained to date: 10.5 lbs total

Gender: girl

Baby's approx. length: Supposed to be 17.5" head to heel. But she's measuring over 18".

Baby's approx. weight: Supposed to be 4.4 lbs... but she's measuring over 5lbs. O_o

Cravings this week: ICECREAM.

Movement: Still TONS of movement... it's getting painful! LOL!
